The investigations

The investigative police are Investigations committee members (at least three people) who belong to the legislative powers. They are elected by their peers. They can access all information stored in the courthouse by the state, with their electronic IDs and an electronic warrant. They are subject to secrecy.

 

This information can be obtained in the form of written reports, which must remain in the courthouse, locked away, if they are not studied or used. Audio and video information is only available at the courthouse.

The Investigations committees provide their reports only to the Wellbeing, Justice and Ethics committees.

To solve very complicated cases or to request investigations abroad, the Investigations committee can work with foreign police or have foreign police come to Utopia.
